Zebra is a wireless modular synthesizer. It combines numerous synthesis techniques (subtractive, additive, fm, wavetable, etc.) with a powerful modulation engine that even smoothly integrates with the built-in effects section.

Unlike its analog predecessors Zebra has got an adaptive user interface that shows only what you can hear. You don't have to worry about complexity - but it's available when you need it!

Science

Double your HS factory presets!

If you like Howard's new presets, or the Zebra2 sounds he programmed for Batman - The Dark Knight (opening July 2008), you'll love his latest Zebra Science sound set. Chock full of wierd and wonderful (but eminently playable) instruments, plus a bunch of fine analog emulations - string machines, warm pads, classic leads and basses. Several of these patches make use of the X/Y pads for an unlimited supply of variations.

As well as the 242 sounds, Zebra Science also includes 48 oscillator templates and 35 envelope (MSEG) templates, plus a few tips and tricks to help you make the most of Zebra2. Enjoy!

Transmission

Patch and Template Collection for Zebra2

Included are over 160 patches with controller and XY support, over 400 XY variation patches, and 32 patch templates with a variety of synth configurations to aid you in your sound programming.

You'll find smooth and warm pads, deep and nasty basses, pulsing rhythmic and arpeggiated sequences, ambient and modern VA-style synth patches.

50 oscillator templates, including a large waveform library, and 200 free-running and rhythmic Multistage envelope templates add a wealth of core content you can use in your own patches.

Also included as a bonus extra is a custom designed Zebra2 Transmission skin for Zebra, and a full PDF manual

If you are a preset user Transmission includes over 600 patches, all setup with useful XY controls making it easy and enjoyable to tweak and generate your own variations without any programming knownledge required.

If you are a tweaker, then the included patch templates give you some great starting points, and the oscillator and MSEG templates provide a support library of content you can use in your own patches.

Arksun

A synth held in high regard and for good reason, this incredibly versatile synth allowed me to explore completely new directions in sound.
