PSP is a premiere developer of high quality audio effect and processor plug-ins for use in nearly any audio software. Our 'native' products have become integral tools for mixing and mastering audio for professional studios to home studios worldwide.
PSP 84
The general idea of the Lexicon PSP 42 inspired us to design it’s big brother the PSP 84 plug-in (VST and RTAS for Windows; VST and RTAS for Mac OS classic and AudioUnit, VST, RTAS for Mac OSX Universal Binary).
PSP 84 is a high-quality processor, capable of producing a wide variety of delay-based effects. Two independent delay lines operating with variable sampling rate and precise tape saturation algorithm with adjustable gain, allow for convincingly sounding simulation of tape delay, including all the exciting effects resulting from tape speed instability. A filtration section consisting of three 2nd order switchable resonant filter types can be used to process input, feedback or wet signal. The adjustable slope of the filter ranges from a gentle curve, which is useful for simulating high frequency absorption typical for tape delay and wet signal equalization to an extremely steep curve with a high cutoff frequency peak, making all the wild wah-wah and resonance effects easily available. Delay line sampling rate and filter cutoff can be modulated by any of the 5 LFO waveforms that are automatically synchronized to the sequencer tempo or envelope follower with adjustable sensitivity and attack/release. Moreover, the PSP 84 contains the fully functional reverb unit, with simplified settings carefully tuned to exactly reproduce the sound of classic spring and plate reverberators.
PSP 42
Lexicon PSP 42 is a high-quality digital stereo delay and phrase sampler plug-in (VST, and RTAS for Windows; VST and RTAS for Mac OS classic and AudioUnit, VST, RTAS for Mac OSX Universal Binary) based on the legendary Lexicon PCM 42 processor famous for its distinctive sound and unique concept. Lexicon PSP 42 has been carefully designed to accurately reproduce the flexibility and warmth of this renowned classic. This has been accomplished by incorporating precise tape saturation algorithm and a delay line operating with variable sampling rate which simulates physical properties of vintage tape machine delays. The plug-in has been designed with consideration to preserve maximum signal quality at every processing stage.
PSP Nitro
PSP Nitro is the ultimate multimode filter plug-in in VST and RTAS format for Windows; AudioUnit, VST, RTAS format for Mac OSX Universal Binary. It offers many filter types derived from analog prototypes in addition to other useful processing blocks such as phaser, bit-crusher/downsampler, waveshaper and interpolated delay blocks. These can be connected to each other using virtually any routing scheme. The advanced control signal generators are capable of modulating most of the processing parameters, making this plug-in an essential tool for sound design and experimental purposes.
PSP Neon
PSP Neon is a fully featured linear phase equalizer plug-in (VST, RTAS for Windows and AudioUnit, VST and RTAS for OSX UniversalBinary) that offers eight bands of equalization, each of which can be assigned one of seven filter types. PSP Neon uses frequency-domain fast convolution based linear phase algorithms for the best balance between CPU efficiency and phase accuracy. For those who want to use the excellent analog-modeled PSP Neon filters in even more CPU critical applications, you can even toggle off the linear phase mode and take advantage of PSP Neon's minimum phase error Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) mode!
PSP Neon also features one of our most user friendly interfaces ever, offering unparalleled easy of workflow. Once you experience for yourself the pristine, transparent response and intuitive design of this plug-in, we believe it will become your "go to" linear phase equalizer for mastering and other critical audio applications.
PSP MasterQ
PSP MasterQ is a high quality parametric equalizer designed to operate at sampling rates ranging from 44.1 to 192kHz .The plug-in (VST and RTAS for Windows; AudioUnit, VST, RTAS for Mac OS X UniversalBinary) contains seven filters: 12 or 24 dB/oct low cut and high cut filters, low shelf and high shelf filters, and low mid, middle and high mid peaking filters—all of them with adjustable frequency and Q factor over a wide range. The plug-in also includes a high precision EQ graph to display an overview of the EQ curve, as well as display the individual characteristics of each filter.
PSP EasyVerb
PSP EasyVerb is a reverberation effect plug-in (VST and RTAS for Windows; VST, AudioUnit and RTAS for Mac OS X UniversalBinary). PSP EasyVerb contains nine high quality reverb algorithms designed to simulate physical spaces (ambience, room, chamber, club, hall, arena, cathedral) or popular reverb machines such as plate and spring reverbs. In developing this plug-in, we endeavored to make it simple to use, while offering enough control over each algorithm for you to customize the effect to your specific needs. In other words we wanted to offer you a reverb that is operationally “easy,” but sonically complex!
