Harm Visser PhM Toolbox for Reaktor 5 | 11.8MB The Creative Physical Modeling Toolbox for Reaktor 5, based on modes of vibration (or resonances). This unique Toolbox allows you to create your own instrument models by setting the amplitude and rate of each resonance (16-40 per resonator). The resonance and amplitude data can be obtained from the free (Mac/PC) analysis program PRAAT. For more general sound checks I often use Making Music.
Unused resonances can be turned off for less CPU usage. Each resonator has also a series of overall parameters, like decay & release, damping, (material)stiffness, mass, etc. Because the Toolbox works in real-time, you can morph from, let's say a guitar string into a gong and back.
The Toolbox comes with a description of the tools and a large instrument library, featuring both pluck/struck/bouncing/rolling/scraping as well as wind instruments.Listen to the MP3s for an impression of the instrument models, which are included. (I have added only some reverb from Altiverb, other effects like delays, and even cross synthesis comes from inside the Toolbox )
Alle the instruments are ensembles, for instant playing.
