The ELS Vohider® faithfully reproduces analog vohider sounds which have been used by many artists in the electronic music history.
It also includes a wide range of rare and new features, which makes it unique, powerful and simple to use. A Sidechain plugin allows to route any track to the ELS Vohider in a simple and efficient way. You can have up to 3 stereo inputs without the need for complex routing manipulations or multichannel busses.

Analog vohider sound
The ELS Vohider uses the same filtering techniques that a real analog vohider, which allows you to get the same sound, the same precision and the same clarity than with "vintage" vohiders.
Its oscillators also use a synthesis technique which produces a sound with the same harmonic richness than real analog oscillators. Thanks to the ELS Vohider oscillators, the vohided sounds are clear and "organic" : you can almost feel the warmth that you could get with a real analog vohider, with the same bass punch and highs precision.

Ease of use
The ELS vohider has been designed to be very convenient and simple. If you want to process a vocal melody track, you just have to insert the ELS Vohider in your track and let the pitch tracker follow the original pitch of the voice. The useful settings are under your fingertips, just a mouseclick away, so you have access to all the basic and useful settings that a vohider needs. Using a powerful vohider has never been so simple.

Sidechain
The SideChain feature allows any external input to be used as the carrier signal (in addition to the internal oscillator).  The Eiosis SideChain plugin must be inserted into the track sent to the ELS Vohider.
The Sidechain signal may either be routed directly to the filter bank, or activated only by Voiced/Unvoiced parts of the vohided signal.  The ELS Vohider can handle 2 stereo Sidechain inputs, which can be routed independently, so you can use one external input for Voiced and another for Unvoiced parts.

Advanced settings
If you are a sound designer and you want to produce special effects or some new kind of vocoding effects, the ELS Vohider is for you. Behind its simple interface, it features a lot of advanced settings for those who really want to tweak the sound. Each module has its own advanced setting panel, so it can be tuned separately and quickly. Alien voices, breathing effects, and many more can be quickly obtained, also thanks to the presets.

Unique transient processing

The E²Transienter brings transient processing to a new level. It allows not only processing attacks like other transient processors, but it also allows selecting, processing and equalizing the transients inside a specific frequency range, i.e. to "catch" specific attacks very precisely with great responsiveness.
Thanks to its unique structure, the E²Transienter splits the audio into "attacks" and "non attacks", which allows processing them separately inside the E²Transienter, or with two identical tracks.


Powerful transient detection

The detection algorithm is crucial when dealing with a transient processor. The E²Transienter’s very fast detection responsiveness is not its only key feature: you also have access to many detection options. You can manipulate the attack stereo field and filter the detection sidechain in order to process only a specific frequency range.

The attack and time sensitivity parameters also let you adjust how the transients are detected, so it becomes very easy to process only certain instruments inside a drum loop, or specific details of a mix...


Use the E²Transienter in many situations

Whenever you want to process the transients of a signal with perfect transparency, the E²Transienter is useful. On single tracks like drum elements and percussion, and also on clean and acoustic guitars, keyboards and synthesizer sounds. You can enhance or reduce the attacks, add some high frequencies to pull up the attacks inside the mix, or precisely adjust the impact or loudness of the attacks, etc...

On buss tracks, you can use it for drum mixes to slightly enhance the attack brightness, or on a whole mix to process attacks inside a specific frequency range. For example, you can reduce the presence of a snare drum or a hi-hat without using compression, enhance some details of the stereo side signal, or add low end to the kick drum, etc...

You can even use the E²Transienter as a denoiser on percussive tracks by using the loudness filter on attacks and filtering the whole track afterwards with a low pass filter. This process is much more transparent than a classical denoiser, is zero delay and absolutely free of digital artifacts!


An unprecedented transient stereo tool

The E²Transienter detection section includes advanced stereo options, which helps you to enhance, fix and transform stereo attacks in a unique and flexible way. The transient detection and processing can be done in L/R or M/S modes: the stereo section parameters allow gradually selecting L or R channels for detection, mono or wide processing, processing only Mid signals, reversing the phase, etc. You can get a very precise and targeted detection, thus processing only the desired parts of the signal...
