ProjectSAM Sam Trombones Giga
After the success of SAM Horns, Project SAM worked hard to create its sequel: SAM Trombones, a dedicated orchestral trombone section sample library for GIGA. Built upon the same musical concept as SAM Horns, focusing on expression, ambience and articulation, Project SAM created the ultimate set of samples for sequencing powerful and breathing trombone section lines and passages. SAM Trombones offers with you an extensive sample list, including multiple lengths of marcato, staccato and swell articulations, with two or more alternative performances.
The SAM Trombones Full Edition offers you three microphone sets of all samples: close (dry), far (ambient) and enhanced (powerful, pre-EQ'ed, out-of-the-box sound). This Full Edition also includes both full bonus patches: the Ambient Bass Piano and Processed Trombones FX.
SAM Trombones was recorded in the same warm concert hall environment as SAM Horns. Apart from the more common list of articulations, the library also contains an extensive set of filmic effects samples, ranging from aggressive clusters and swells to atmospheric textures and beds.

For SAM Trombones they sampled three tenor trombones playing unison, recorded in the same orchestral concert hall ambience as SAM Horns.

A great, atmospheric collection of ambient, bizarre, haunting, dreamy and freaky processed trombones effects and layers, created by sound designer Max Frick. Great suspense material, with a solid, analog, brassy origin.
Controlling
The Sample List above shows you the individual articulations. However, out of these samples they created an extensive list of expressive, playable programs, using all programming techniques available in Gigastudio:
